My Books from 2006 (4 in all)
MY BOOKS
I have been fortunate when it comes to being published. My first book, "Get Wired, You're Hired," was produced originally in 1997 by Prentice Hall Canada. It went through several updates, the most recent version being the 2006 Edition, which is no longer in print. I also have served as Executive Editor on three other job search books, all from Sentor Media.

1.  For Adult Job Seekers

Get Wired, You're Hired!  3rd Edition

The Canadian Hidden Job Market Directory, 6th Edition

2.  For Students and Recent Graduates

The Canadian Student & Grad Job Directory, 12th Edition

The Canadian Summer Job Directory, 3rd Edition

I am first to admit that I have some strong (and not infrequently controversial) opinions about career and the world of work. Which is why I take great delight in writing columns and articles. From 2003 to 2005 I had a bi-weekly column in The Toronto Star's Careers section. And since August of 2005 I have been featured on the homepage of Workopolis.com - Canada's largest job site - as their National Career Advisor. Everything that I have written for these two publications is available for free on this website. Just go back to the Home page and look in the left hand column for a list of my work by category of career concern.
